Energetic fundraisers will be pounding the streets of Billericay on Saturday, July 6, from 7.30am when they take part in a 100 mile relay race.
The event has been organised by Billericay Striders Club as part of an effort to raise funds for Little Haven Children's Hospice. Premier League referee Andy D'Urso has even agreed to take part.
Organiser David Sweet said: "This has now become an annual charity event for the Striders. It is well supported by members and the people of Billericay are always very generous."
