Falling masonry from a derelict Westcliff building could kill, a worried resident warned today.
Ralph Walker, of Holland Road, has been concerned for public safety since a mullion - a stone window support - fell from an upper storey of the Victorian property in December.
Southend Council has launched an investigation into the building and action could be taken to make it safe, a councillor revealed.
